Architect Alessandro ZOPPINI

Key-note speaker of the symposium, the well-known Italian architect Mr. Alessandro Zoppini will take part in a session with a speech and will also answer questions.

Born in Milan in 1966.

From 1990 to 1993 worked at Pino Zoppini Studio.

Worked at ARUP ASSOCIATES from July 1993 to October 1994.

Worked for RENZO PIANO BUILDING WORKSHOP from November 1994 to June 1995.

In June 1995 he went back to work in STUDIO ZOPPINI in Milan, where he has been involved on many projects including:

• Burj Dubai Tower, Dubai.

• Damac Residential Tower, Dubai.

• Design for 44.000 spectators Wroclaw soccer stadium for EURO 2012.

• Palasport speedskating Oval for Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games.

• Palasport Arena for artistic ice skating and short track for Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games.

• Torino 2006 Olympic Speed Skating Oval.

• Millennium Bridge Competition, London.

The Project "Olympic speed ice skating arena, Turin" has also been awarded with ECCS Steel Design Awards in 2007.
